Data Protection Technician

Responsible for providing data protection service excellence across a dedicated customer group.  The Data Protection Technician is accountable for delivery of off-site backup & recovery operations via the ABS online data backup platform.

Responsibilities include off-site backup operations management, performing data recovery executions and regular backup systems administration in accordance with ABS Best Practices.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Technical expertise and knowledge of backup and recovery or related methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Be confident and effective in all client engagements
• Excellent writing, interpersonal communication and decision-making skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and driven to deliver quality results
