An off-site data protection solution for small and mid-sized business. Advanced software provides leading data protection for servers, desktops and laptops. The solution is provisioned for standard file and folder data protection. Clients receive a dedicated Backup Technician that monitors backup operations and resolves potential issues via secure remote login sessions.
ABS Technicians manage backup operations, monitor the system environment and restore data, applications, or entire servers, without client or IT resource involvement. HOW IT WORKS
An agent is installed on the targeted servers and workstations. The initial complete data replication occurs. From here, new files and changes to files are identified for transmission. Files are encrypted during backup, transmission and storage using 256-bit AES encryption, the technology standard of the US Government. For additional protection, the solution uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to establish a private communication path to the ABS DataVaults.
A second copy is sent to an ABS Replication DataVault located 3,000 miles away, ensuring maximum redundancy.
